Good mom gifts for Christmas?
I am 14, and I have no idea what to get my mom for Christmas! She is impossible to buy for and asks for like 2 things and that’s what she gets. No surprise, which is no fun. I want to get a really cool gift that she’ll use regularly (not a crappy thing that she’ll use twice) so that she can be surprised AND get a great gift that she will use in the many months/years to come. She’s not a huge jewelry fan, and sometimes clothes are better if she’s the one to pick them out. She’s totally not self-centered, and hates big or expensive gifts. Any ideas? She just bought perfume online for my family to give to her for Christmas because it was cheap:( Please help!!!!!

She sounds lovely! How about a lovely scarf that’ll match her favourite outfit? Or a pretty umbrella maybe? Or a watch? I (I’m a mom of 3) always like it when they buy something that shows they’ve thought. A DVD of my favourite shows, or a CD of my favourite singer. Perhaps she’d like the latest Susan Boyle CD. That’s lovely and relaxing! Or pack up a “RELAX” hamper for her – it’d mean buying a candle, bath foam, some nice tea, chocolates etc, relaxing music, a magazine and putting them all in a box. Yes – go for that last one. She’ll love it!

I bought my mom pajamas and she uses them all the time! Go to Victoria’s Secret and pick up a cute pair in her favorite colors! Throw in some matching socks or slippers. Good luck!

What’s your budget and what are her hobbies and tastes? You have to take these things into consideration. Then budget and bargain for whatever it is you come up with. If your mom is into dressing you could get a cheap discount by buying perfume online or since winter is here a nice trench coat from J.C. Penny’s would be good. Or if she’s into interior design and gardening a decor item for the house or some knick knack for the garden. If she’s the sentimental type then she appreciate a book you picked our yourself (if she’s a reader and make sure you know what genre she prefers), a thoughtful note and some roses or even a scrapbook made up of family pictures and mementos. Even a simple gesture like cleaning the house for her, or cooking Christmas breakfast her can be the deal breaker if your mom is into cleaning and cooking. These are just some ideas to get you started but whichever most relates to your mom’s personality would be perfect.

Here is a perfect answer (because I had the same exact problem you have!) Give her these cute gift packs of tiny chrome magnets called Herculuttles. They are CRAZY strong! She will love them for the kitchen to post pictures, notes, invitations – She will like them because they actually hold stuff up!! My mom LOVES hers.
They come in a nice acrylic box with a bright pretty label (you can pick the color) which makes them look more expensive than they are (on sale now for $6.99).
Here is a review for you:
