♬ Perfume Soundtrack – Meeting Laura (with lyric)
the track meeting Laura from the Perfume Soundtrack; sung by soprano Chen Reiss. Laura is personated by Rachel Hurd-Wood. OST by Tom Tykwer; Johnny Klimek; Reinhold Heil Lyric in italian with translation ——————————- thx to elybaby85 for translating the lyric
************** To the soul Will fit More harmonic The music The only caress Over an unattractive body, And like that it breathes The sumptuous note, So that will be The image Of an angel Who will set free. The most pure I’ll talk about The music, The tears, Full of love, With my note, To see her again, To wake her up. If revealed I’ll be able to listen to her In the premature fetus And like that I’ll stay.

@Zoloft61 mmh you say you have to be a women-hater to write such books?
Asymvivastosd on April 30, 2010 at 1:13 pm
@Zoloft61
You have absolutely right.

@Asymvivastosd I agree, there is nothing beautiful or poetic about girls being killed to steal their scent. But the real psycho must be Patrick Suskind (the writer) himself. Maybe he hated women just like Alfred Hitchcock did.

@jimmyperugia
No U.F.O.’s stuff, it is more a thing for “freemasons”. Note that i said that there is a message hidden (and there is) not that the message, itself, is true.
Better: i still have no clear evidence, that the message is true.
Bye

@Erodotus Love and scent are mystically bounded

@Asymvivastosd hm I don’t think so. why do you think is (the message of) the movie awful
Asymvivastosd on April 30, 2010 at 4:43 pm
The music is perfect but the movie is awful… You must be an idiot or you must need a psychologist if you like the poetry of these murders.

There is an hidden and esoteric message in this film, particularly in these scenes. For those who can understand

No, he does not MEET her, not in the conventional sense of the word. He notices her scent coming from behind a wall and deduces that she’s young, prepubescent and has the aforementioned attributes. He never even sees her. He doesn’t need to; his sense of smell tells him everything he needs to know about her.
PiepMiau03 on April 30, 2010 at 7:15 pm
@QueenBoadicea no, he mets her a few years before he’s killing her: Moving to Grasse, Grenouille once again becomes intoxicated by the scent of a young woman, Laure. He decides that she is not quite mature and resolves to kill her in two years time
QueenBoadicea on April 30, 2010 at 7:43 pm
The music and the truncated initial visions of Laure are perfect. In the book, Grenouille never saw her at all until the moment he killed her. The first impressions we see in the movie visually echo what he knew about her in the book: without ever seeing her, he knew she had red hair, white skin, green eyes, freckles and the barest hint of breasts. All this and merely from her scent! It is a tribute to Whishaw and the composers how well they conveyed his mute and unseeing desire for her odor.
